I am a photographer and creative based in the Kansas City area. I was drawn to photography from an early age, getting my start by documenting family trips and events. Through high school and college, I have taken classes to hone my passion and slowly but surely grew in the craft.

Some of my other interests include cooking and mixology. I love to try out new recipes and make them my own. There isn’t a bourbon cocktail I won’t try. I also have a passion for nature, conservation, and education which led me to KU to earn a degree in ecology, evolution, and organismal biology. While furthering my education in the sciences, ironically enough my passion for the arts grew tremendously. I was struck by the beauty of the natural world and I constantly feel the desire to showcase its beauty. I focus more on the observational side of nature with my photography, however, I also enjoy being experimental by building terrariums, vivariums, and jarrariums.
